Day 46 Vol. 2: Vegas lingers!

I was still getting over the plane ride it, but still working through it. It was a good day.

The deadlifts were a tough but I think I could have pushed past it. The lat. Burpees were not easy but fun! The wallballs were a good—lower Nick!!!

I flew in from Vegas and this was the first thing I did when I got back. The jet lag kicked my but big time. I was extremely winded. Who would have thought? I mean I was only gone for four days. I have to admit I wanted to see how I handled the WOD after a flight—never done it before. Overall, I was happy!

This was a truly tough WOD. It was long and grueling, but well worth it! The Power cleans were solid! So were the front squats. The jerks were really fun! The pull-ups kicked butt big time! The 30 second rest between rounds was nice.

The conference was crazy and I was not able to make it to Kaizen Crossfit, so I did a travel WOD with my buddy Rich Breiner for a second time. It was fun! It was a solid day for me, and Rich’s second time! Great job my friend! You were awesome!

Today was a rest day from Crossfit. I was in Las Vegas for a Professional Speaker’s Summit. It was awesome! However, the Palms has a tough time accomodating a Paleo/primal guy!

We partnered up on this WOD and I partnered with Chey. It was a good WOD. I am getting my double unders down. It was fun! I should have done them better but I am getting there! The situps were fine! Overall good experience! I am not going to take a break tomorow since I fly out tomorrow wvwning for Vegas and the Edge Summit- can’t wait!

Day 38 Vol. 2: I wanted to apologize for being behind. I was at the Champions Edge Summit

I just want to apologize to everyone! This last week has been crazy busy. This last weekend I was in Las Vegas going through the professional Speech Program: The Champion’s edge Summit. It was a excellent experience! I learned a ton from 5 of the best Public Speakers in the World! It was a great time!
The WOD was very difficult. There was a time cap of 25:00 minutes ,and I made it through the first 5 and ½ rounds! I, then, stayed after and finished it. The TGUs were just brutal. The burpees were awesome! The KB swings were a nice break. I progressively moved from 35 down to nothing on the TGUs. It was an experience
